This week Joe and I set up the posts for the solar panels and Brett Carter installed the panels. We also spent a day with the electrician installing lights, with the plumber installing the hot water system, with Caleb completing the roof flashing and another installing surfeits. We completed painting last week.

Lockup
We have finally reached lockup stage - all doors and windows are in. That means cold winds and the possums are out. The main roof facia and guttering are also complete thanks to Caleb's tin-smithing artistry.
Glen and Cathy Hanson of Eurotrend Doors and Windows install our final door - a large Lift and Slide door from the living area out to the eastern lawn.
The final door in place.

Final roof goes on as winter sets in.
Hey! Joe came home and is helping us finish our house. How about that! Easter was wet and windy, so was Anzac weekend. But Caleb, Joe Michael and I eventually got the final roof on.
We also installed 6 more Spotted Gum windows and the first 5 clearstory windows.
Malcolm's ute has no end of important uses. A mobile scaffold is one of them.
I probably won't bring it inside once the floor is tiled.
