Nearly there - the state of play

Spring, Soph and painting

The glorious weather continues, but with more wind and awe inspiring surprises.

I have slowed to 5 day weeks allowing visits to the spectacular places nearby, e.g. Roaring Beach

 Joe brought Soph down to visit us. We went to Shelly Beach for the sunset.

And we are painting all the bits and pieces.

Just a bit of laundry cabinetry to go and all will be ready to plumb in and power up.

Interior fitout

Well it's been a while since I updated this. Just got busy. We are now very nearly finished. Hopefully we can move in in two or three weeks. Summer is on its way. The weather has been great. We have finished cladding, had our first wood fire, collected our bed, dining table and white goods and bought some indoor plants including Lord Howe Island's Kentia Palms. The past 2 weeks have been spent constructing cabinetry and hanging doors. Mountains of flat packs have been converted into storage and work spaces. Joe has had his first swims of the season. And all is well with the house building. Soon it will be time for the house warming.
